Twitter dragged Melania Trump after reports surfaced that her Republican National Convention speech was basically a carbon copy of an old Michelle Obama speech.

Social media is having a field day with Melania Trump’s alleged plagiarism debacle.

The hashtag #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes quickly surfaced on Twitter, mostly to ridicule her for reciting a speech at the Republican National Convention that sounded nearly identical to one that Michelle Obama gave back in 2008.

Despite the fact that the Trump camp has denied any wrongdoing, it seems like a very unlikely coincidence that Melania miraculously regurgitated the First Lady’s words.

There were trolls under the hashtag who defended her, but mostly people used it to tweet famous quotes from songs, television shows, and historical figures and facetiously attributed them to her.

The results were undeniably hilarious. One of the celebrity players in this game was actor Jesse Williams, who has been in the spotlight recently for his humanitarian efforts for social justice and activism against police brutality.
