Florida Police Officers Rescue A Man Stuck Inside A Burning Car

If it wasn't for these cops, the poor man could have burned to death.

Much has been said about police brutality over the past several months and people have acquired a general air of mistrust toward law enforcement officers in the United States. However, it's a pretty obvious statement: not all cops are bad. Some are downright heroes.

A recently released video shows two policemen putting their lives in jeopardy to save a man from a burning car.

Last Christmas morning, two Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies found a car engulfed in flames at the side of the road in Destin, Florida. Officers Joseph Trimboli and Eric Keyes ran toward it and after a few moments of struggle, they were able to smash a window and pull out a man trapped inside.

The man, who is yet unidentified, only suffered minor burns and was treated for smoke inhalation.

The sheriff’s office presented these deputies with Medals of Merit and Lifesaving Awards for their heroic actions.
