Undergarment advertisements featuring super skinny female models often get criticized for promoting a body image that an average woman can't have. However, the same treatment isn't handed to ads that have muscular male models doing the same for an average male.
It's a lesser known fact that men are just as insecure about their bodies as the opposite sex. In order to raise awareness about these issues, Jenny Francis and the Sun teamed up and created underwear poster ads that show how ordinary men like in them.
From Armani to H&M, these side-by-side comparisons reveal how the media has distorted our perception of what male bodies should be like.
The two sets of models in images down below are wearing the same brands of underwear. In fact, even their poses are same. Still, the images with models appeal much more to us while the ones featuring average Joes do nothing, and in some cases make the viewers cringe.
