Llama, Huffington Post, Silly picture

One silly picture of a girl’s head on llama’s body has been enough to make her internet famous, at least for a day. The picture of the girl has appeared on Huffington Post, and Good Morning America. The silly picture is fitting for the silly story that led to the girl gaining internet fame.

The event started when an internet jokester posted a picture a few days ago with her head sticking out to match the neck of a llama. The picture was for a new internet meme called “desk safari”, which by the time you read this probably isn’t cool anymore.

After taking the picture, the girl tweeted it out, and it was later picked up by the official Desk Safari Tumblr. In a strange coincidence, it was a slow news day over at HuffPost comedy, and a writer there was collecting sites for a “best of the web” piece. The aforementioned Desk Safari website was picked, and the young ladies picture got chosen for the cover art. Suddenly, her llama-head picture was the talk of the internet. By the next morning, the girl received a call from Good Morning America asking for the rights to use the picture as well.

And that is how one special lady won the “dude, the internet is so weird” lottery for June 20th, 2013.
