Google Uses A Street View Camel To Map A Desert

This camel just got turned in to a street view car to map the Liwa desert.

Google strapped a camera on a camel and set it through the Liwa desert in the United Arab Emirates.

Why? Because it wanted to map out the desert, that’s why. Know any other way the good folks at Google could have mapped a desert for its street view service?

Though the footage contains only vast amount of sand, a man and a camera-yielding camel, it is magnificent to watch.
