Thanks to two artists, Kenji Nakayama and Christopher Hope, it's become a little harder to keep walking on past the very poor of Boston without noticing. The pair have devised a unique campaign -- they buy the simple, hand-drawn signs written by the homeless on cardboard, placards that usually bear messages like "hungry, please help" for example. Then, while preserving the original message, the two create striking new posters. Their work is bringing attention to the plight of our society's neediest with genuine beauty. But don't take our word for it -- check out their work below.
