Twitter user Julie Boniface was at an Ohio Graeter's ice cream kiosk when she got the best surprise of her life.
The salesman in the shaggy wig, hat and glasses selling ice cream to her turned out to be Andy Murray – the world No. 2 tennis player who is currently in Ohio to compete in the Western & Southern Open.
Even Murray’s mother Judy tweeted about her son’s hilarious prank:
A spokesman for Murray told Mail Online: “Andy is in Cincinnati for the tournament and was just larking about in disguise to see if people could recognize him.”
The Scottish tennis ace is confident about Cincinnati Masters after his Rogers Cup success over Novak Djokovic. He will face American Mardy Fish in the second round this week before the U.S. Open starts at the end of the month.
"I feel good. The last couple of matches I felt like I played very well," Murray told BBC.
"It is quite different conditions here so it will take a few days to get used to them and hopefully I can try to get through my first match somehow and hopefully start to feel better as the week goes on. But obviously last week was great for me regardless of how I play here and was a good win for my confidence."
