Jimmy Kimmel Found People Who Believe MLK Endorsed Trump

In the latest edition of "Lie Witness News," Jimmy Kimmel asked people what they thought of Martin Luther King, Jr. endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Jimmy Kimmel’s “Lie Witness News” is a reliably hilarious segment at this point—Kimmel’s producers take to the street, perpetuate false information, and watch as hapless interviewees fall into the trap of stupidity.

Kimmel has made many ludicrous claims in the past, but none may top the idea that Martin Luther King, Jr. is still somehow alive and also endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Producers interviewed numerous people on Hollywood Boulevard who all bought into this idea that King, mysteriously alive, recently endorsed Trump, voicing their opinions on this new development. Many of the responses were positive, declaring that if Trump has King’s support, he must be a good candidate. One woman even thought that Malcolm X endorsed Hillary Clinton because the two vacationed on Martha’s Vineyard together.

Everyone seems to have missed that important lesson in history class in which we learned Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in 1968. Also, as a civil rights leader, he would not likely endorse a candidate who is outspokenly racist and supported the beating of a Black Lives Matter activist, even if he were alive.

King is most likely turning in his grave right now.

You can watch the insane segment above.
