Jiu-Jitsu Fighter Goes For Flying Armbar To Defeat Opponent, Knocks Himself Out Instead VIDEO

The flying armbar is regarded as one of the most challenging submissions – one that even professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters find hard to pull off after the first round – mostly because it is a high risk move and requires a tremendous amount of energy.

In the video above, a fighter ends up with a self-knockout while trying to apply a flying armbar during a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu championship fight in Mauritius. The man landed on his head, jerking his neck rather dangerously.

According to the video uploader on YouTube, the fighter was alright after the incident.
