Watch These Kids Play A Led Zeppelin Medley On Xylophones

Along with a legion of talented kids, this band must have the coolest band director ever!

Some recent endeavors by young artists might have left you worried for the future of the music industry, but this amazing video of kids playing Led Zeppelin on xylophones is plenty enough to give us hope.

The video depicts a group of younglings rehearsing a medley of Led Zeppelin classics: "Kashmir," "The Ocean" and "Immigrant Song" on a variety of percussion instruments.

Louisville Leopard Percussionists is a Kentucky-based performing ensemble of 55 student musicians, all ranging in ages 7 and 12 and belonging to different middle schools in Louisville area.

Though the video was originally recorded few months ago, it went viral after the band guitarist Jimmy Page praised the video on his Facebook page.

 

The Louisville Leopard Percussionists began in 1993. Along with xylophones, they teach students to play marimbas, vibraphone, drum set, timbales, congas, bongos and piano.
