LeBron James Does The 'Ice Bucket Challenge,' But Not Without a Giant Squeal

LeBron, we thought you were tougher than this. LeBron James is arguably the fittest and toughest athlete in the world today, but he squealed like a little kid when a bucket of ice was poured on him.

OK, not like a little kid, but he did let out a giant shriek when a bucket full of ice cold water was emptied on his head as part of the ALS "Ice Bucket Challenge" that's trending on social media these days.

The challenge involves pouring a bucket of ice on yourself, posting its video online and donating $100 to alsa.com. It's for the benefit of those suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) – a neurodegenerative disease more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Anyway, LeBron's challenge is embarrassing because several other non-athletes completed it in this past week, but very rarely did anyone react the way the King did.

Also, he did it on a yacht and at a time when there was plenty of sunlight. Embarrassing, Bron!

There is a chance though that he may have overreacted on purpose. After all, we know he does have the tendency to do that. The other interesting bit about LeBron's challenge was that he nominated his sons and President Barack Obama.

"I accept the challenge from Brandon Weems, Kevin Durant, Kevin Hart and DJ Steph Floss, and I nominate LeBron Jr., Bryce Maximus and President Obama for the ALS challenge," he said in the video shared on his official Instagram account.

Don't expect to see Obama pour ice water over his head anytime soon. The White House previously announced Obama would take the dry way out of the challenge -- donating money to an ALS charity instead. Ethel Kennedy, widow of Robert F. Kennedy, had nominated the president.
