Dutch Yachting, a Facebook page representing the world's finest yachts from the Netherlands, recently shared astonishing footage of a bumbling captain crashing his luxury yacht twice on the docks while trying to moor — and the video is now going viral.
The clip starts with the boat bumping onto a grassy bank as a man prepares ropes on the front of it. The vessel then thrusts carelessly through the harbor during a second attempt to moor, bumping into more boats as onlookers gasp in disbelief.
A woman can be heard in the background yelling: “Danger boat, danger boat, danger boat!”
An online user with the handle Tesla Rawks wrote underneath the clip: “More money than brains… good job. The first hit and run on a boat I ever seen.”
“Just because you can afford it doesn’t mean you have any business driving it," opined social media Paul Ricketts, while another commented, “Oh, I thought he was playing bumper boats or something. I didn’t know he was actually trying to drive it.”
