Seeing an eagle pluck a fish from the water is a thing of beauty, but we've seen it all before right? Probably not live, but on nature videos, it's one of those stock shots. Idyllic lake shot, cut to the eagle in the tree, its eyes dart downward. The bird soars down to the shimmering surface of the lake and snags a fish in its talons.
Majestic, but you've seen one you've seen em all. UNLESS the bird grans a fish on someone's fishing line, and then that guy freaks out! It's one of those moments when you find out who you are. Your sitting, fishing, enjoying the scene, and then a giant bird is flying off with your fishing line! It's not so much the loss of the fish as the fact that he doesn't know what to do with his line. Drop it? Fight back? Scream and hang on? Our friend chose option 3.
The short video leaves only one question unanswered. Why was he filming himself fish?
