The epic stunt to end all epic stunts has finally been achieved. Behold, a video of a man jumping out of burning car as it plunges into a lake will definitively blow your mind.
A recent video uploaded to Youtube by user aguyfromalabama (Jakob Hernig) appropriately titled “most epic vehicle jump ever!!” shows a burning truck flying over a pond as a rather fearless man jumps out of the front seat and plunges (along with the flaming vehicle) into the water — all in slow-motion just to really highlight the total epic-ness of the whole event.
While the video has gained an impressive amount of views, many users commented not on the “epic” factor of the stunt but rather the environmental repercussions it undoubtedly has.
“You just filled a perfectly good pond/creek/river with a bunch of gasoline and heavy metals, probably partially ruined a small eco-system for a bunch of animals, good job,” Youtube user Chris Merrick wrote.
Others noted how clearly inconsiderate and self-centered it is to damage the environment for a meager, shameless 15 minutes of fame.
Youtube user Richard Daigle wrote, “…hope animals and people don't use the water, because you just ruined it for everyone right there. For a 15 second YouTube video with 3k views.”
And people claim humanity isn’t responsible for the destruction of the environment. Sheesh.
But to really sum it all up:
Youtube user ddstar wrote, “…you ran over a big pile of burning trees and killed everything in that pod.. YOU MONSTER.”
