Using laser cutter technology, a man made a playable record out of an uncooked flour tortilla proving Mexican food and music harmoniously fit together.

Now you really can play with your food.

Thanks to laser cutter technology, a man successfully made a playable record out of a tortilla.

Redditor UpgradeTech made the edible record out of an uncooked flour tortilla using a 40W Epilog Laser Cutter. A raw flour tortilla was chosen over cooked since it shreds and corn which can be too lumpy and crunchy for the musical experiment. UpgradeTech detailed his whole process of making the record in an Instructables post. Rapture Records, who uploaded the viral Youtube video, fittingly chose “Jarabe Tapatío” or otherwise known as “Mexican Hat Dance” for the tortilla to play proving music and Mexican food truly belong together.
