Massive Mako Shark Surprises Diver (Video)

When exploring the deep you are always confronted with multiple threats that can attack you from anywhere. Similar was the situation that happened to diver Jim Abernethy while he was filming a blue marlin on a Guy Harvey Expedition off Cat Island in the Bahamas.

While filming marlin he got a surprise visit from a 10ft. long, 600 lb. Mako. Out of nowhere the massive shark shoots past Jim like a missile. The sudden arrival of the surprise guest turned a quiet and peaceful dive into an explosion of bubbles as the diver ran for his life.

You can hear in his muffled scream how surprised he was.
