Have you ever ordered $250 worth of French fries at McDonald’s? If not then the photo below will give you an idea how big an order it can actually be.
A recent promotional sale at the famous fast food chain attracted a bunch of Korean kids to order a pretty large amount of them.
The order was literally massive... the kids actually had to place the order over multiple tables at the restaurant with fries and grease covering every inch of available space.
The French fry party must’ve been delicious and exciting for those who were a part of it, but the rest of the customers at the restaurant weren’t enjoying at all. Reason? First of all their food got delayed and because the kids were creating a lot of noise.
Eventually a worker told the kids to leave, according to Rocket News
Discount sales at McDonald’s in Japan and Korea have given birth to the trend of throwing French fry parties among teenagers.
The trend itself is disturbing because of the health concerns but throwing kids out of the restaurant is not a good idea. They were just having fun. If someone has a problem then it shouldn’t be with the kids, it should be with the offer itself!
