This young model is determined not to care what anyone else thinks and has decided to show the world just how beautiful bald can be in these amazing pictures.

Dayna Christion (professional name Dayna Marie) is a 25-year-old model. She was also diagnosed with nodular sclerosis Hodgkin lymphoma when she was 22.

Battling cancer cost Marie her hair as she battled the disease with everything from chemotherapy to stem cell transplants. During her second stem cell procedure, a friend requested to take a photo of her (bald head and all) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Marie's friend posted the pictures online and she became an overnight social media sensation.

"When he started posting the photos I got a bunch of photographers that were really interested in working with me," Marie said in an interview with BuzzFeed. "Mind you, I was straight bald at this point."

Marie is determined to be herself in her career and not hide the way she looks.

"I refused to wear a wig or a scarf because, f--- everyone else, that's how I looked and I didn't want to hide that because of what other people thought," is what Marie says concerning her refusal to cover herself.

Marie has become a much-needed beacon of hope for the thousands of woman who are going through similar treatments around the country and around the world.

Her message of self-confidence is amazingly refreshing and impactful to all of those who can now finally see themselves represented in the world of fashion and beauty.
