Almost two weeks ago, a photo of a black man sleeping on a Jewish man’s shoulder on the subway in New York did rounds on the internet.
Orthodox Jew, Isaac Theil, was widely praised for letting a stranger rest on his shoulders for more than a half hour.
Inspired by the Theil’s compassion, Charidy performed a little experiment on New York City’s subway to see if other people would do the same.
Things looked pretty sad in the beginning; no one would let the prankster pass out on their shoulders. However, the end results were heartwarming.
