You know that feeling of utter humiliation and rage you get when you stride up to a party looking super fly and discover someone else is rocking the exact same outfit as you? Oh, the horror. Well, that mortifying incident was captured on camera at Channel 9 News in Australia on Wednesday as two news anchors bickered over wearing the same color.
Yes, that level of high school mean girl maturity was executed brilliantly by news reader Amber Sherlock (middle) who demanded her colleague Julie Snook (left) put a jacket on, like she told her to do two hours ago, because all three ladies on camera are decked out in white. Come on, Julie.
"I need Julie to put a jacket on because we're all in white. I asked her before we came on… Julie you need to put a jacket on," Sherlock said as Snook repeatedly apologized.
The epic tiff was leaked to the news anchors' presumed embarrassment but to Twitter’s delight, as the latter really reveled in Sherlock’s A-grade sass and superficial attitude. But really, who can blame her? The triple white showdown just really clashes with the whole ambience of the television station.
I was surprised Amber Sherlock had a problem, channel 9 normally loves keeping Australian TV all white. #PutYourBlazersOnForJulie— Hero (@hierohero1) January 12, 2017

"Live TV can be a pretty stressful beast, at times. And as anyone knows, it’s never much fun rocking up to work or to a party in the same outfit as one of your colleagues or friends,” Sherlock told 9Honey, seemingly trying to justify her ludicrous outburst.
"I probably overreacted with the pressure of presenting a live news bulletin,” she added.
