Do not urinate in public, especially if you’re in India.

Some men in India had had enough of people urinating in public. They decided to take matters into their own hands and came up with the idea of a “pissing truck”, a motor vehicle to blast offenders with jets of water on the streets and left drenched.

A video of the hilarious experiment was uploaded on YouTube last Wednesday, by an organization called The Clean Indian.

However, BBC stated that none of the sanitation experts in India approached have heard of the group.

According to some reports, the events shown in the video could be staged. The pissing truck could possibly turn out to be a public service message to stop people from urinating in public.

"The video has a somewhat pre-planned look," said Paromita Vohra, an Indian filmmaker who made a documentary about the lack of public toilets.

The Clean Indian also set up a Twitter account but it was deleted a few days ago. As of the time of writing this post, there has been no official response from the mysterious organization.

Sanitation in India is one of the biggest problems the world’s largest democratic nation currently faces. Last month, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) released a public service message for the country to highlight the hazards of public-defecation.

Around 620 million people in India defecate in the open, according to the UNICEF, leaving an estimated 65 million kilograms of waste each day. Only half of the population uses toilets.
