Something Really Terrible Is Going To Happen To Nemo

Your favorite clownfish Nemo is about to die. International non-governmental environmental organization Greenpeace is known for its brutally dramatic and often controversial public service messages that aim to highlight various possible dangers faced by our planet.

This time around, the Australian division of the group wanted to draw the world’s attention towards the severe consequences of building the country’s largest coal-mine in Queensland on the ecosystem of the Great Barrier Reef.

To achieve that, they decided to use the death of a popular and much-beloved Disney character – Nemo the clownfish from 2003 blockbuster movie Finding Nemo – who lived in the Reef.
