The country is already getting tired of the race to the White House — and the election is still a full year away. So Rachel Maddow decided to find out once and for all who will actually win in 2016.

Maddow, host of The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC, conducted a random straw poll live from McHale’s in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and the audience seems to have had a fantastic time.

Kicking off the poll, the host said: “I do not care if you’re a Democrat or not, I do not care if you’re a South Carolina resident or not or whether or not you’re going to go to the Democratic primary . Right now in this room, pretend that you are.”

So this is how it worked: Maddow announced three candidates’ names in the following sequence, Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, and promptly said that in the straw poll, whoever intends on voting for a certain presidential candidate must make the sound “Hoot” when their name is called out.

A practice session was also carried out.

Check out the video above and find out which of these three presidential aspirants  is most popular among the public.
