After Applebee's debacle, when a customer left a mean message on the bill and refused to pay the tiphere's a nice switch-up from the usual unpleasant restaurant receipts that might cheer you up.
In the latest big stir to hit Reddit, a picture of a restaurant receipt was posted by Redditor farthoven that includes a $4 discount for "Well Behaved Kids." farthoven later informed that it happened at a restaurant named Sogno Di Vino.
What do you think is more surprising over here… the offered discount or the proof that children behaved well while dining out? Seriously, this happens seldom! Laura must be a proud mom.
Response to this post brought out supporters as well as those who objected that people shouldn't be getting discounts for behaving like you're supposed to behave.
Redditor timmy_0020 posted:
If restaurants did this for every family with well behaved kids, then you'd get the bitchy parents of the bitchy kids complaining about not receiving the discount. No progress.
So, what do you think? Should parents get a discount at restaurants if kids behave well during mealtime? Let us know with your comments.
