Driving on the icy roads this winter is extremely dangerous, but for one woman it would have been fatal…if not for the polar vortex. For most, the polar vortex has brought nothing but frosty pain, but one woman in Little Canada, Minnesota would probably be dead if not for the deep cold.
Dramatic security camera footage shows the woman driving her car off of a bridge. She falls over 100 feet and lands in a pond.
Actually she lands on a pond, not in it. The pond, like just about every drop of water in the Midwest, was frozen solid, so much so that a car falling from an impressive height didn’t break through.
The polar vortex is no fun, and it has probably killed a fair number of people by now, but at least it did a little good while it is around.
