May, 30, 2014: This truly is the golden era of street art.

You never know when an artist's creativity amps up and leads him to make something incredible. This is what happened to Dutch street artist Daan Botlek, who came up with an idea to paint an escape story while wandering through the abandoned Wuhlheide site in Berlin.

Using nothing but white paint and a brush, he spent the next few hours painting silhouette figures of men successfully fleeing from detention. The place's dilapidated condition and the pre-existing graffiti on the walls add more meaning to Botlek's work, which can be viewed down below:

This is how it all began...

When no one's looking, run to the other side...

Job is halfway done...

Be careful not to raise any suspicions...

One after another...

Help your mate...

We're all free men now!
