Musicians from India are wishing Christians around the world a Merry Christmas with an instrumental music tribute that will pull at your heartstrings.

If 2015 is remembered for anything, it might well be the awful rise of discrimination over people's religion. Hate crimes against Muslims have been on the rise in the wake of the recent terror attacks in Paris and the mass shooting in San Bernardino, California.

But a group of Indian Sufi musicians who still have strong hope in the world and humanity put together a classic instrumental version of famous Christmas carols such as “Silent Night,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

The songs are performed on traditional instruments like the mandolin, oud, sarangi and rubab, and feature a soulful video, sure to tug at your hearts strings.

The media production is basically a commercial for TataSky, a television provider in India, and brings with it a strong message of peace and hope in the world. Although terrorist groups and extremists are trying to destroy the concept of peace, this video showing Muslim Sufis wishing Christians is sheer proof that the future holds brighter days for us.
