The ‘Elvis Tree’ Has Lost Its Allure As It Now Resembles Donald Trump

An elm tree known for being shaped like the head of Elvis Presley has morphed over time to look more like GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

An elm tree located in Herefordshire, England rose to international fame back in 2013 when photographer Jon Rowley pointed out its uncanny resemblance to the late Elvis Presley.

“I was just driving along one day and it stuck out like a sore thumb,” Rowley told South West News Service after spotting the tree three years ago. “I’m not much of an Elvis fan, but I just noticed that unique quiff straight away and said, ‘That tree looks like Elvis.’”

Recently, Rowley drove past the tree again but it no longer favored the “King of Rock and Roll,” but more so the orange coward Donald Trump.

“I was driving past, for the first time in three years, from the opposite direction and saw a different side to the tree,” Rowley told The Huffington Post. “The ivy had grown and the Elvis quiff seemed to have become a Trump comb-over.”

That poor tree; to go from looking like a beloved musician and heartthrob to resembling one of the world’s biggest buffoons is certainly an unfortunate fate.

Rowley took the drastic transformation as a possible foreshadowing of what’s to come on Election Day.

“It’s not every day that you see a tree that looks like Donald Trump. It was so odd,” he said. “Perhaps it’s a warning about who could become president in November.”

Rowley is not the first to find Trump’s likeness in an odd place. His face has been found in a tub of Earth Balance Organic butter and his hair has been spotted on an ear of corn.

Let’s just hope Rowley’s assessment is wrong and instead of being a “warning,” Trump haunting food and shrubbery is just a manifestation of the crippling fear we have of him leading this country
