The President in Sequoia National Park is perhaps the world's largest tree. It is so massive it's nearly impossible to get your mind around. Like an erupting volcano or the deep ocean, it's something that you need to see to comprehend. But in the case of the President, it is so big, that one can't capture it with any fidelity in a single image. To get the whole thing in one image, you need thousands of pictures, and some of them have to be from high above the ground.
