These D&G Hunks Sound Far Less Attractive On Helium

What hot-blooded woman wouldn’t want to flirt with or better yet be courted by Dolce & Gabbana male model? Well not these models. All their pickup lines fall absolutely flat.

Imagine getting courted in a voice straight out of a cartoon. This is exactly what happens with these Dolce & Gabbana hunks who inhaled a bit of helium straight out of a balloon. Watch as all their sultry pick up lines land you in a fit of giggle. You’d think they have no luck, but here’s a secret: They are still pretty irresistible, just in a funny kind of a way.

The video was recorded backstage at the Dolce & Gabbana SS2015 fashion show.

Helium may seem pretty boring with its colorless, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic nature, but inhale a bit of it and it’s the funniest thing that can happen to you.

So what exactly happens when you inhale helium? Usually our vocal cords vibrate to make waves that are transmitted through the air, creating sound and enabling us to talk. But when one inhales helium, the waves pass through the gas which is almost six times lighter than air and the sound waves travel much more quickly. Hence, the squeaky voice.

A word of caution though -- too much of helium can affect breathing causing lightheadedness. It’s OK to have fun but practice caution and never to take more than a few puffs of the gas, exhale fully after each breath, then take a deep breath of regular air. Don't repeat the procedure repeatedly and under no circumstances should one ever breathe helium directly from a compressed gas canister.
