The University of Mississippi Medical Center just got to witness one of the best marriage proposals of all time--it doesn't get any sweeter than this!

One man decided to give his deaf girlfriend the proposal of a lifetime—it’s sure to warm even the coldest of hearts.

Andrea Diaz, along with her mother and boyfriend, went in to the doctor’s office at The University of Mississippi Medical Center to have her cochlear implant activated.

In an already heartwarming video, Diaz begins to cry as she hears her mother’s voice for the first time.

“I love you,” her mother says, hugging and kissing her sobbing daughter.

After adjusting the volume on the implant, her boyfriend, Kevin Peakman, chimed in.

After asking if she could hear him (to which she responded, “Yeah, it sounds funny!”) Peakman got down on one knee said, “I wanted the first thing you hear is me asking you to marry me.”

She started crying just a little harder and said, “There’s so much going on!”

Could there be a better way to welcome spring?
