#TrumpJump: Trump Ironically Forced To Jump A Wall In California

Priyanka Prasad
Trump had to jump over a small wall in California.

Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico is one of his most famous policies—it is also one of his most absurd.

Trump experienced a bit of irony on Friday as he was forced to jump a small wall in Burlingame, California on his way to speak at the California Republican Convention.

Due to protesters that had blocked off the conventional road, Trump and his entourage jumped over the U.S. Highway 101 median before entering the Hyatt Regency Hotel, where the convention was being held.

Trump, himself, commented on the incident, noting in his keynote speech at the convention that, "[This] was not the easiest entrance I've ever made. I felt like I was crossing the border."

This irony did not escape Twitter users, who quickly pointed out the hilarity of Trump having to climb over a wall:

Unfortunately, this will probably not deter Trump from continuing to ramble on in every speech about building his wall.
