Unlucky Customer Damages $6,000 Worth Of TVs In Three Seconds

A hapless customer did 6,000 dollars in damages to a television display in a matter of moments when he leaned forward to get a closer look.

A traumatized customer probably wished he'd just stayed home after knocking over 6,000 dollars worth of TVs while browsing at an electronics store in southwest England.

The video taken in an HBH Woolacotts store located in St. Austell, England shows an unidentified man casually sauntering towards a display of new Samsung Panasonic TVs before bending down for a closer look. While kneeling, the man accidentally knocks one television over, causing it to bump into the display behind it and send both TVs crashing onto the floor of the store.

The man then jumps backward only to send a second display behind him flying in the other direction, ultimately wrecking four expensive televisions in a matter of seconds.

The CCTV footage of the incident shows the man and the staff member holding their heads in obvious distress.

Assistant manager, Mike Collins said of the unfortunate incident, "Staff were devastated when it happened. I had been on a day off but came back and watched the footage."

The store has not made a statement yet about whether or not the man is going to be asked to pay for the televisions, but considering how easy it was to knock them over, maybe HBH Woolacotts should be more careful with how they display their electronics from now on.
