US Army Accidentally Makes It Rain Cars In Germany

A faulty army supply drop in Germany resulted in three cars crashing to the earth while bystanders captured the unbelievable incident on video.

It was literally raining cars at the U.S. army garrison in Hohenfels, Germany this month.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team was delivering Humvee vehicles by parachute but some of them slipped out and came tumbling out of the aircraft.

U.S. Army W.T.F.! Moments Facebook page recently posted a video of the incident in which three cars came crashing to the ground.

Luckily, no one was injured as a result of the botched delivery but several shouts of shock and excitement can be heard from bystanders in the video.

WTF Nation posted photos of the mangled vehicles on Twitter. While it is a bit humorous to imagine trucks raining from the sky, the situation is being taken seriously and an investigation is underway to find out what went wrong with the parachutes.

The outcome of such a mistake could have gone in another direction and resulted in tragedy or turmoil had anyone been struck by debris from the Humvees, so it’s in the army’s best interest to make sure this is a one-time mistake.
