In most armed warfare video games if you are anywhere within five feet of a grenade or a planted bomb, it's game over, but things don't always work the same way in real life. A US marine had an IED go off beneath his feet and survived. The entire thing from the explosion to his buddies rescuing him was recorded on the said soldier's helmet-cam and it's available on YouTube for us to watch.
