Utah Man Plans

This gentleman is Alan Foote, a musician and no doubt a patriot, from Washington City, Utah. Foote plans to commemorate the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks with a musical tribute. He plans to sing ‘God Bless USA’ 911 times. Yes, that’s one hug under taking. One that will take him two days to complete. But Foote is not daunted; in fact he is excited and looking forward to his own unique tribute.

He says he has it all worked out and practiced, he will sing the song at the rate of 19 times per hour, with 15-minute intervals to rest his voice in between and be done in two days time, i.e. by 6:46 a.m. Tuesday to mark the 9-11 anniversary. "I would love for the community to stop whatever they're doing at 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday and sing with me that 911th time," he requests.

However, he does not want to set a recor; just make a point. News about a New York school where "God Bless the U.S.A." was removed from a school program because the principal feared it might offend some people seriously upset him and he decided to do something about it. What better time than 9-11 anniversary?
