When a huge blizzard barreled toward the East Coast this weekend, it promised chaos and misery for tens of millions. But just try telling that to Tian Tian.
The 18-year-old male giant panda lives at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C., which was slammed by the blizzard and covered by 2 feet of snow.
But the intense cold, high winds and huge snowbanks didn't keep Tian Tian from frolicking outside — and capturing the Internet's heart in the process.
Zookeepers said Tian Tian was excited to wake up to find snow. The National Zoo shared an adorable video of the giant panda playing in the snow, having the absolute time of his life.
