In a video swirling around the internet and reminiscent of a scene from the blockbuster “Signs,” a pair of two Russian men walk through a snowy countryside and then shift over to reveal the supposed corpse of a “dead alien.”
The video is apparently shot from the town of Irkutsk, which is close to the area in Siberia where a UFO sighting was reported a month ago. The news also comes after the FBI releasing a 1950 Roswell document earlier this month stating that three flying saucers and nine extraterrestrial bodies, each 3 feet tall and wearing clothing of a fine metallic cloth, were once recovered in New Mexico.
The video is quickly being written off as a hoax, and one paranormal investigator says the first “red flag” is the way the video starts off with an establishing shot of the landscape. "It makes sense in the context of a fake film but it does not make sense in the context of someone suddenly finding this alien creature,” says the investigator Benjamin Radford, who doubles as the managing editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine. Whether it’s real or fake, one thing’s for sure: Aliens are back.
