Look out Nicki Minaj, Michelle Obama is taking over the rap game with her motivational flow in a new video encouraging kids to go to college.

First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama has shown the world that she is as “hip” as they come. Aside from being a fashion icon and health advocate she has proven herself to be a skilled rap artist too.

The FLOTUS teamed up with Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah to make a hip hop song and video about the importance of going to college to promote the “Better Make Room” campaign which offers support to young people during the college application process.

The video starts out very cheesy with two "teens" — who look more like they're in their 20's — talking about what they’re going to do after high school and one of them says he’s just going to “hang out.”

Then, Pharoah suddenly pops up from underneath the table and bursts into song.

Together, Pharoah and First Lady Obama rap lyrics describing all the careers that require a college degree like engineering and archeology.

They also note that if you want to watch paint dry or stare at grass you don’t need college but for just about everything else, you should get a degree.

The song embodies the perfect mixture of corniness with upbeat positivity to surely get stuck in your head for hours.
