The Queen did not hesitate to admonish her grandson as the royal family watched the Trooping the Colour celebration in honor of her birthday.

Apparently, you’re never too old for a stern talking-to from your grandmother, even if it’s in front of thousands of people and captured on video.

Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince Harry, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte were all in attendance, sitting out on the balcony in Buckingham Palace to watch the annual Trooping the Colour celebration in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday.

As the royal family watched the parade go by, William crouched down to briefly speak to his son, Prince George, and point out something specific; however, the Queen was not so happy with this move from her grandson.

A video captured the Queen sharply reprimanding him: “Stand up, William,” she rebuked. Prince George hilariously facepalmed as soon as William obliged—perhaps  unintentionally, but nevertheless providing the perfect reaction to the situation.

William may be 33 years old, but the Queen clearly let him know who’s really in charge.
