What Happens When You Walk Across China? A Crazy Beard

A man's time lapse video tracks his 4,500-kilometer trek on foot, all without picking up a razor even once.

What happens to a person during a walk across China?

Step by step, day by day, Christoph Rehage answered that question during a 4,500-kilometer (that's about 2,800 miles for you non-metric folks) walk across the world's second largest country.

Between amazing sites, like ruins of the Great Wall and Tibetan mountain passes, and the hassles of killer bees and sandstorms, Rehage only avoided one thing during his walk: shaving.

Thanks to his daily photos and time lapse video, Rehage shows us what it looks like after a year of all walking and no shaving.
