The "It's On Us" campaign released a new viral video with celebrity cameos highlighting the importance of consent.

The White House sponsored #ItsOnUs campaign just released a new star-studded video stressing the importance of consent.

Actors Matt McGorry, Zoe Saldana, John Cho and Josh Hutcherson among others are featured in the PSA titled, “The One Thing” which refers to the value of only engaging in sex that is consensual.

The “It’s On Us” campaign was first launched in 2014 by President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

This video comes at a time when college students are going back to school which is a high risk time for assault.

There are experts who refer to the first few weeks of school as the “Red Zone” which describes a period of vulnerability for sexual assaults, according to the New York Times.

The campaign and video are not unwarranted, as Virginia’s Old Dominion University was just under fire last week for sexually suggestive banners hung outside of a fraternity house near campus.

Earlier last month a University of Alabama sorority was condemned for releasing a degrading recruitment video showing that men aren't the only ones spreading rape culture.
