The Holderness family managed to combine the concepts of Christmas cards and career-boosting viral videos with their Xmas Jammies video. Uploaded 4 days ago and climbing fast, Xmas Jammies manages to both update the Holderness’ family’s friends (and the rest of the internet) on what everyone’s been up to for the last year and promote their new business, which is making viral videos. Clever.

In case you were curious, the boy is in a hip-hop class, the girl can count to 100 in Chinese, the Mom was an extra in Iron Man 3, and the Dad had a vasectomy. Eventful year.

And hey, why not. In a month where Christmas music seems to seep out of the ground everywhere you go, Xmas Jammies is at least different. And Christmas cards are great, but the rap video Christmas card is something new to work with. It’s enough to make you forgive the Holderness family for the more cynical side of this, which is that it’s an ad for their next venture.
