What you just witnessed is probably one of the most bizarre, not to mention hilarious, moments in ESPN history.
While promoting his new movie SportsCenter, X-Men: Days of Future Past star Hugh Jackman couldn’t resist picking a fight with WWE superstar John Cena. He even has a nickname already picked out.
Prancing around and calling himself the Flying Aussie, Jackman taunted world-renowned wrestler "John Cena, I'm the Flying Aussie. I'm coming off that top rope. And see how I'm dark now? You're not gonna see me coming - it's going to me like THIS John Cena. You're going down!"
Jackman's overconfidence probably comes from his face-off in the ring with “Magneto,” where he handled himself rather nicely.
Maybe a Jackman vs. Cena match may not be such a bad idea after all.
X-Men: Days of Future Past, starring Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, launches on May 23 and may just prove to be one of the biggest comic book movie openings of all time.
In the meantime, let’s hope Cena has a response for Jackman.
