14-Year-Old Girl Blows 'Britain's Got Talent' Audience Away With Opera

Leah Barniville sang a gorgeous rendition of "Caruso" by Lucio Dalla on "Britain's Got Talent." The audience was in awe and leapt to their feet at the end.

Leah Barniville, 14, came to England for the first time just a few days ago. While it's not uncommon for teens to take trips with their families, this one was special.

The Irish teen appeared on "Britain's Got Talent." And, boy, does she! Originally from Ratoath, Ireland, Barniville certainly has an impressive set of pipes.

"I sing when I study, and sing when I'm brushing my teeth, and sing when I'm trying to go to sleep," she said.

"It means so much to me that today goes well," she said. "I really hope that I make my mom and dad [and] my brother, Daniel, proud."

Slightly timid at first, Barniville chatted with the judges before belting out an impressive number. While you might expect Justin Bieber or Katy Perry from her, Barniville sang "Caruso" by Lucio Dalla.

Notorious critic Simon Cowell said to Barniville, "I thought that was honestly incredible. And you're 14 years old, and you don't know how good you are."

The other judges showered the youngster with similar amounts of praise.

"Your stage presence was just fantastic," Alesha Dixon said, while Amanda Holden called her Italian "impeccable."

Naturally, Barniville made it through to the next round. We can't wait to see what she accomplishes on the show and in the future.
