Darci Lynne Farmer, 12, has got quite the act — and it's a little different from the typical song or dance.
"I would really like to keep ventriloquism alive because it's not common," the Oklahoma girl said to the judges before beginning her act. While she initially came out giggling nervously, when Farmer and Petunia began singing "Summertime," by George Gershwin from the 1934 opera "Porgy and Bess," there was no hesitation.
She was excellent, so excellent, in fact, that Farmer got the golden buzzer — which sends her straight to the live show — and a hug from Mel B.
When she started tearing up, we couldn't help but want to give her a hug ourselves.
Best of luck, Darci (and Petunia)!
