In case you were looking for choices to plan your next vacation, U.S. News and World Report recently released its list of the best places to visit for 2016-17 in the world.
From world-class museums in Budapest to the glittering streets of Paris, the Washington, DC-based publisher of consumer advice and information produced a list of 25 tourist hot-spots based on “expert opinions, user votes and current trends.”
One of seven natural wonders of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as the largest coral reef ecosystem in the world; the Great Barrier Reef was named the best place in the world.

It was a much-needed boost for the environmental icon that is currently facing rising sea temperatures as a result of which around 93% of its reefs on the Great Barrier Reef have been hit by coral bleaching.
"It's a once in a lifetime vacation, and it's been in the news recently because of coral bleaching," said Erin Shields, travel editor for U.S. News, in a statement. "Travelers need to see it soon because there might not be as much left."
