A video recorded by a Chinese passerby in the Qinzhou city of East China’s Shandong Province shows the harrowing moment a car is repeatedly hit by a bus, resulting in serious injury to the car driver.
As reported by the manager of the bus company involved, the encounter kicked off when one vehicle tried to prank the other, but this soon escalated into a quarrel. The car driver, who was irritated by something the bus driver had done, began driving slowly in front of the larger vehicle to annoy him in return. But it seems like the bus driver was not willing to put up with his attitude, and rammed into the back of the hatchback car, not once, but around eight times. The car soon veered off and crashed into a tree on the side of the road.
But things got worse when the enraged bus driver refused to stop even after the car had crashed. The car driver, who got out of his car to escape on foot, was chased by the bus as it drove through a fence and then drove over the man’s leg.
The man is heard screaming as he lay pinned under the bus, and even then the middle-aged bus driver does not relent, getting out his vehicle to yell at the injured man.
Police soon arrived at the scene and the bus driver was taken into custody, while the car owner was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the bus driver’s vengeance remains unclear but surely there is no excuse for running over a man’s leg, regardless of what he did to spark the fury.
