Chris Christie’s Wife’s Reaction To Trump’s Sexist Speech Says It All

Apparently, making strange yet oddly appropriate faces on the national stage runs in the Christie family.

Remember when Chris Christie appeared behind Donald Trump, his stricken face begging the nation for help from the awful predicament of having to support the boorish billionaire? It was the face that launched a thousand memes. This time around, Christie's wife is the one signaling to us secretly with her expressions.

Mary Pat Christie raised a lot of eyebrows Tuesday night for grimacing and rolling her eyes on stage while standing in a show of support for Donald Trump.

While making his victory speech, the GOP front-runner, who swept to victory in all five states, took aim at Hillary Clinton — who won four out of the five primaries on the Democratic side.

“Frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she would get 5 percent of the vote. The only thing she's got going is the woman's card,” the billionaire real estate mogul told a crowd gathered at Trump Tower in New York. “And the beautiful thing is that women don't like her.”

The misogynistic statement drew a reaction from the New Jersey governor’s wife, who until that time had been standing dutifully in a trance, reminiscent of her husband soon after he dropped from the race and showed up to support Trump during a previous victory speech.

Apparently, Mary Pat Christie couldn’t hide her dismay at Trump’s blatantly sexist remark — and her eyes portrayed exactly what she thought of the GOP hopeful in that moment.

Christie’s little eye-roll made her the star of the show and favorite of many women and Hillary supporters, as evidenced by the tweets.
