I’m a child of Holocaust survivors. Watching Alisyn Camerota interview Nazi Arthur Jones was bone chilling.— PassMeAPickle (@CeeLeeMusic) February 8, 2018
He denies the Holocaust. Says we’re “a Jew Party system.”

The only Republican candidate running for Illinois’ Congress seat is an alleged Nazi, so it isn’t a surprise that a CNN host absolutely destroyed him on live television.
During Thursday’s “New Day” show on CNN, host Alisyn Camerota interviewed Arthur Jones, the only Republican trying to challenge Democratic Rep. Daniel Lipinski despite having been denounced by the state’s Republican Party and National Republican Congressional Committee.
Despite saying he hasn’t been formally involved with Nazi organizations for “15, 20 years,” Jones used his appearance to call the Holocaust a “scam” and an “extortion racket.”
He also accused CNN of being “Jews media” and of “going absolutely nuts.”
After showing footage of Jones giving a speech at a neo-Nazi event, Camerota asked: “Mr. Jones, it is shocking to hear how vocally and unapologetically racist you are. Are you a Nazi?”
After saying he doesn’t call himself a Nazi, he instead said: “I call myself an American patriot and statesman.”
Camerota promptly hit back, reminding Jones he had been involved with anti-Semitic organizations since the 1970s.
“You’re part of the White People’s Party, you dress in Nazi garb, and you celebrate Hitler’s birthday,” she said. “You’re a Nazi.”
After pointing out that his website was “filled with the most vile, rancid rhetoric” the host had ever read, Jones defended everything he says on his official page.
“There’s nothing on that website that’s not true,” he said.
“You Jews media, you’ve gone absolutely nuts. You think that Adolf Hitler’s revived from the grave or something. It’s one man -- one man, myself, that’s standing for the truth,” he added.
As he continued to call the Holocaust a “scam,” Camerota replied with facts, setting the record straight on what actually happened.
“You have a long track record of losing,” she firmly said. “You lose virtually everything that you run for. You’ve run for Congress and you’ve lost, for mayor, for alderman. And we’re not in the business of predicting the news, but I can say that you will lose this race. You couldn’t win dog catcher.”
“Chances are you’ll go down in flames,” she finally added.
Her brave determination for the truth was not ignored by Twitter users.

It seems that Camerota hit the nail on the head when she said Jones was going to "go down in flames." Still, it’s scary to think that he is the only Republican candidate to step forward in the race.
Will he get any votes? Who are the people voting for him? Oblivious conservatives or people who actually agree with him? One can only hope that he doesn’t have much of a following.
